The position of main players of Ukrainian confectionery market was not affected by financial crisis and “KONTI” GROUP still remains the central player and managed not only to hold its volume, but also to increase it.


In 2009 “KONTI” GROUP increased sales by 30%, compared to 2008, to UAH 3.315 billion, for the first time in its history exceeding UAH 3 billion.
2009 “KONTI” GROUP production reached 220 thousand MT.
“KONTI” GROUP market share in Ukraine was increased from 13.8% to 14.7% in 2009 (according Goskomstat of Ukraine). KONTI keeps developing its innovative strategy and in 2009 started producing 25 types of new products. The new market tendency in 2009 was KONTI’s launch of candies under the trade mark “Fast Sweets” and chocolate tablets “LovelyKonti”, “Milkolad” and “Ulybnis”.
